Ongoing enquiry can test assumptions before formal consultation begins and provide context for interpreting the responses.
Purposive recruitment can bring seldom-heard perspectives into the record. It provides depth and context, not statistical representation.
Citizen Centric does not replace surveys, consultation or service data. It helps teams use them as part of a broader and more accountable evidence base.
An iterative research process
The platform keeps the research enquiry, participant relationship, consent and evidence connected as the study develops.
Start with a place, service, community or emerging signal, including where the issue is not yet clearly defined. Use early research to surface experiences, patterns and questions that need closer attention.
Choose methods and sampling deliberately for what you are trying to understand. Combine qualitative and quantitative approaches where appropriate, with a clear rationale for how different forms of evidence will inform one another.
Gather participant accounts, observations, media and structured measures as the study develops. Review and refine developing themes, test interpretations and adapt the enquiry where the evidence points to something that needs further exploration.
Interpret findings alongside other evidence to improve services, support governance and strengthen representations to other organisations. Feed what is learned back into the next cycle of research rather than treating the study as a one-off exercise.

Role-based researcher permissions and study-specific participant sessions keep access tied to the work people are responsible for.
Consent, enrolment and participation states remain visible to the research team as the study progresses.
